Rise Up Conference 2024 Opening Night Screening: "When Does Freedom Begin"

We are honored to open this year's conference with the opening night community screening of "When Does Freedom Begin," directed and produced by Linda Genereux and featuring Louis Reed of the illmatic Podcast, Tiheba Bain, founder of Women Against Mass Incarceration, and community activists Roland Whitley and Mary Valdovinos.

This free Community Screening will show virtually on Monday, September 9th at 7:00PM EST/6:00 PM CST and in-person at multiple locations nationwide. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Linda Genereux, Louis Reed, Tiheba Bain, Roland Whitley and Mary Valdovinos open to all participants.
