Inaugural Rise Up Fellow 23'
Stacey L'Air Easiley
Stacey is a justice reform advocate who is currently studying Media Communications at Full Sail University. Her passion for continuing the growth of education in the prison system is driven by her own experience. The lack of resources for individuals to advance their education, specifically in the Federal system, spearheaded her pursuit to seek involvement in other organizations that are doing similar work, in order to find a conduit to further this initiative. Stacey came across the opportunity for this fellowship as a member of the FICGN Listserv. She has an extensive background in event production as well as the film industry. She aspires to expand her career in the media field, by telling the stories of the numerous untold truths of those who are incarcerated, in hopes of promoting ongoing change.
